The National Wildflower Centre has a fun filled time planned to help you Be Active… and enjoy the Great Outdoors during the half term holiday.

Wear Your Wellies Trail: Monday 27th May

This free event is a self-led trail for you to do at your own pace, drop-in anytime between 10am – 4pm and collect a trail. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear!

Miniature Scarecrow Making Workshop: Tuesday 28th May 1.00pm - 3.00pm 

Join our Local Ranger to make unique mini scarecrows! All materials and equipment will be provided. Please meet at the Friends room.  For more information please contact the Ranger on 0151 443 3114 or 07771550843

Pedal Away - Bike Ride: Wednesday 29th May 11.00am - 1.00pm 

Family bike ride with Pedal Away Project.  Meet in our main courtyard by the Cafe at 11am before setting off on a leisurely bike ride to Halewood Environment Centre and back, via the loop line.  Bring your own bike along, but don't worry if you don't have one - You can reserve one by calling Kevin on 07971 476520 or emailing him at kevin.mccann@cycling.org.uk  Please note children 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Compost Corner: Thursday 30th May 1.00pm – 3.00pm 

‘Compost Corner’ is a popular drop-in workshop where you can learn all about Compost with Annick  Laroque from our Great Outdoors Project. 

Archery Skills and Bow Making: Friday 31st May 11.00am – 3.00pm drop-in

Knowsley's Bridgefield Archers will be joining us as we have a go at Archery Skills. You can try your hand at bow making and bushcraft skills with My Outdoors Classroom and Knowsley Rangers.  Please note this event is for children aged 7 years and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  This event is supported by the Friends of Court Hey Park.

Seeds Under the Microscope: Wednesday 5th June Drop in anytime between 1.00pm - 3.00pm

Understanding the magic of wildflower seeds. Why not drop-in and take a look!
