Visitors to Ecobuild in 2014 will be greeted by a display of Meadowmat for Birds and Bees.

Meadowmat has been used on the Timberplay stand in the atrium of the Excel Centre to create a relaxing area and to highlight the value of green space and wild flowers in streetscapes

These pictures show how a small area of live green plants can enhance hard landscaping, making urban areas into a mini-oasis

What a shame the show doesn't take place in June or July when thewild flowers in Meadowmat for Birds and Bees really are at their best

The Ecobuild Show is an annual event attended by architects, planners, developers and anyone involved in designing and building homes, leisure facilities, retail parks - well, anything really. Visitors to Ecobuild are the movers and shakers, the ones who most influence the world around us, and they come from all over the world to see what British suppliers have to offer.

Timberplay have created some of the most amazing wooden play areas in the Country. Closest to Q Lawns in Norfolk are the installation at Centerparcs in Elvedon, and, more frequently used by those of us with Children and Grandchildren, the play equipment at High Lodge in Thetford Forest.
